A New Space For Startups In San Francisco

Today we are opening our new Space for startups in San Francisco.
I can see that you are asking, what?

Well, it is a place to explore the latest technologies and learn how to build successful startups. It a great feeling to build new things and especially when you have the chance to dream about something and than move it forward so it become a reality. I am excited about this place, as it will give us a good option to help more and learn more.

Look below who open it 😉

We are going to have quite a lot of events in it. The types of events that we will run are:

Tech Talks – Most of them will be presented by Googlers on a range of technical topics such as machine learning, Android, progressive web apps (PWA), containers, and accelerated mobile pages (AMP).

Codelabs – Google Developers Codelabs provide a guided, hands-on coding experience. Topics include Android Wear, Google Compute Engine, Project Tango, and Google APIs on iOS.

Mentor Hours  – 1-to-1 mentoring sessions by product experts from across Google to tackle specific challenges and help identify potential solutions. Mentorship and expertise is offered in the following areas:

  • Startup problem-solving
  • General technical assistance, from building apps to integrating machine learning
  • Product assistance for Google Cloud Platform, Firebase, Android, Chrome, Design, and more

Launchpad events – Launchpad is a mentorship-based global startup program. We work with startups through a range of tailored events, from accelerator bootcamps to technical training. Since 2011, Launchpad has delivered over 50,000 hours of mentoring to startups in more than 25 countries.

Design Sprints – We will run design sprint to help startups execute better. It is a battle-tested rapid process for answering critical business questions through design, prototyping, and testing ideas with customers. Good fun.

So the main call for action here is simple – Come and join the party.

We are at 301 Howard Street, 4th Floor, San Francisco.
