How to record a Demo/Meeting on MacOS

To record a meeting or a demo on a Mac, you can use the built-in QuickTime Player app.

Here’s how:

1. Open the Quicktime Player app from your Applications folder.
QuickTime Player is the default media player for your Mac.
It lets you record audio and video.
You can use Spotlight (cmd+space bar) to open it.

2. In QuickTime Player, choose File > New Screen Recording.
This will open Screenshot and display the tools.

Useful Google Sheets Functions

From time to time you want to get more from your data in Google Sheet. It might be some information you collected from a form or any other spreadsheet with data you wish to work on. Here are some useful functions for common tasks.

1. Return the last row

There is no specific function to return the “last row” – but this hack is working perfectly.

=INDEX(A:A,COUNTA(A:A),1)

2. Joining text

Useful for all the cases where you have first name and last name in 2 columns and you wish to join them.

="this name " & A1 & “ plus this extra name ” & B1

or if you have cells you wish to merge into one with a certain delimiter:
=join(“;”,A1:A5)

Raspberry Pi And Google Coder #socool

The Web is awesome and this week I had the pleasure to play with a new ‘face’ of the web platform. It’s built for Raspberry Pi and you can take it as far as your imagination will let you.

Coder

Coder is a very cool project that aim to be a simple way to make web stuff on Raspberry Pi. Short and sweet. It is also an experiment for Raspberry Pi that give you a free piece of software that turns a Raspberry Pi into a simple, personal web server and web-based development environment.
